Lake City Chamber of Commerce Created in 1921, the Lake City Chamber is a partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in our community. Full-time staff support the numerous volunteer boards, the chamber works for as an economic counselor/teacher, governmental relations specialist, human resources advisor and a public relations practitioner. Southern Business & Development magazine has ranked the Lake City Columbia County number eight Best Small Market over the last ten years. What that means is the Lake City area has maintained better economic development and businesses growth than thousands of other markets of similar size. The Lake City Chamber has a mision "To be the leader in providing advocacy, information and services that will promote business development and enhance economic prosperity in our community." |
